The Head Auxetic 2.0 MP introduces a fundamentally different approach to racquet frame construction. Conventional frame structures compress in a predictable way at contact the Auxetic material embedded in the Head 2.0’s frame has a negative Poisson’s ratio, meaning it expands laterally when compressed. This creates a more uniform distribution of contact energy across the string bed, producing a fuller, more natural feel that players often describe as the racquet feeling alive and responsive in an unusual way.
The MP (Mid-Plus) head size of 100 sq in makes this the most demanding configuration in the Auxetic 2.0 range advanced players who can consistently find the centre of the string bed will experience the Auxetic technology at its most expressive. The frame rewards technically precise contact with an intimacy and feedback richness that distinguishes it clearly from conventional graphite frames.
At around 305g unstrung, the Auxetic 2.0 MP is a serious racquet for serious players. It pairs particularly well with natural gut or multifilament strings that complement its inherent sensitivity, though players using polyester will find it controllable and stable. A genuinely different racquet for players who want to explore beyond the mainstream.
Available in grip size G3. Recommended stringing tension: 48-58 lbs.
